First of all. Thank you for caring enough to read this “About” section. I hope you’ll be happy to find what you are looking for.
Do you wanna read about NBA Predictions, find our Top 10 PlayStation Exclusives list or fix your Fantasy Premier League team? Well, then The VideoScope is the place to be!
I started this website to write about the things I am passionate about, all of which is pretty much covered by the site’s tag line: Sports. Entertainment. Wrestling. If you like any of those things, I’d love for you to stick around!
Who Are We?
I’m a guy by the name of Mathias Eftedal.
I was born in Oslo, Norway in 1991. After living there for the first 21 years of my life, I decided to go to London to study Journalism for 3 years. I finished with a Bachelor’s Degree, but without a job in the field I had studied for, like a lot of Uni graduates these days.
Instead, I moved back to Norway to my old job where I work with kids. I do enjoy that, but I still have aspirations of writing and creating content full-time, doing what I love to do.
So that’s what I’ve set out to do!
Instead of a free WordPress blog, I started up a proper website, buying a domain name and all. For now, I’m going to contribute at least 5 quality articles per week, but my goal for the future is to continue to grow the site. My hope is to eventually expand to more platforms such as YouTube and Twitch and possibly hire more people to contribute in the future.
Starting from scratch isn’t easy, but I’m hoping good content, a willingness to learn and a dash of hard work can help this website grow. With your help, the possibilities are endless. Do I need to add any more clichés?
Maybe I need some help from cliché master and fellow TheVideoScope writer, Kevin Nissanka:
Hey ya! My name is Kevin Nissanka and I am a journalist by trade, Chocolate Bear by nature.
Unlike my older colleague, I was born in Helsingborg, Sweden in 1993. After graduating high-school, I decided to move to London to study Journalism at the University of Roehampton. It is actually where Mathias and I met, and we had done a lot of work together including my own side-venture, the CBFootballShow.
Since my time at university I’ve gone to write for several publications that include, MSNSport, 90min.com, ThreeAndIn, Crowdit and most notably UEFA. Mathias is one of my closest friend’s and one of the best people to work with, so why wouldn’t I help to try and make TheVideoscope one of the best websites possible?

Why The Name?
Figuring out a name for a website is hard. A name has to be recognizable, easy to type and remember, have something to do with what you are writing about and still be unique. Most good website names have been registered as a .com already. I’m looking at you; hungrygorilla.com…
So how did we end up on TheVideoScope.com? First of all, it was available as a .com and on all different social media platforms. That’s hard to find. Secondly, it was a recognizable name, but a pretty unique word. A word that will not only be associated with this site, but also one of the greatest entertainers of all time. Someone you might not even know about:
The “Macho Man” Randy Savage.
If you didn’t know who “Macho Man” Randy Savage was, you have been missing out. If you continue to look into The VideoScope however, you will never miss out again.
